Tara Reinke capped off a memorable 2024 league season in perfect style at the weekend.
Alongside her Steph Hancock BMD Player of the Year medal. the hard-running prop is celebrating a special club double after being named the Western Clydesdales BMD Premiership Player of the Year and Best Forward.
Reinke, who co-captained the Clydesdales in their inaugural BMD Premiership season this year, was near on unstoppable this season.

The former Gatton Hawks star finished number one in the runs and tackles made list this year and was fourth overall in run metres behind teammate Leianne Tufuga, Chelsea Lenarduzzi (Burleigh Bears) and Bree Spreadborough (CQ Capras).
Tufuga was also among the Clydesdales award winners with the New Zealander named PlayersCoach’s Award: Player.
Zoe Cook picked up the Coach’s Award.
In the men’s program Taniela Otukolo was also celebrating a double.
The Clydesdales hooker was named Player of the Year and Players’ Player with Luke Rouland earning the Coach’s Award.
