Brisbane's hottest homes under the hammer this weekend included a Logan renovator snapped up by a bold buyer whose first bid stunned the crowd.

A three-bedroom, one-bathroom Mount Gravatt cottage was the city's most viewed property going to auction, according to realestate.com.au data.

Marketing agent Michael Kazoulis, of Property Inc, said the listing at 21 Gaynesford St, Mount Gravatt presented "entry-level buying", as well as a savvy opportunity for developers.
