Home prices within the same city are not always equal.

Even in neighbouring suburbs, how much one area’s median value has dipped or grown can be vastly different to its sister suburb.

On Hobart’s Eastern Shore, PropTrack’s March quarter figures show a 5.4 per cent rise in Clarendon Vale’s median house price, while right next door, Rokeby grew by 1.6 per cent.

Much closer to one another, Warrane grew by 2.5 per cent and Mornington by 3 per cent.
