A WOMAN was lucky to escape with minor injuries after rolling her car when she swerved to avoid a dog on the Warrego Hwy.

A WOMAN was lucky to escape with minor injuries after rolling her car on the Warrego Hwy near Oakey.

The 23-year-old was travelling westbound when she swerved to avoid a dog on the road just after 3.20am.

Her Suzuki sedan hit a gravel driveway then an embankment and flipped.

The car rolled a few times before landing back on its wheels.

She sustained minor cuts and grazes.
