TOOWOOMBA families still have plenty of time to get out and enjoy a taste of winter these school holidays, thanks to Grand Central.

The shopping centre's Super Chill Winter Festival is up and running, and providing snow-loads of fun for the city's children.

Festival activities run from 10am until 2pm right up to July 15, and include the snow pit, snow ball toss, winter village, igloo building blocks, craft workshops, photo booth, and Arctic hub.

Kids can also collect four stamps from activity points along their adventure to receive a free take-home toy.

Grand Central Marketing Manager Marieke Bridgeman said the centre wanted to celebrate winter and all it had to offer with the festival.

"Don't forget to grab an official guide to help you discover all the fun," she said.
