THE Chronicle and Wagners are giving readers the opportunity to get a bird's-eye view of Wellcamp Airport on its open day.

Ten lucky readers will be launched sky-high in the Wagners helicopter when the gates to the massive construction site open to the public on Sunday, November 24.

All you have to do is complete an entry form and attach two Wellcamp Airport tokens found in any (or all) of editions of The Chronicle from next Monday to Thursday.

The 15-minute joy flights are valued at $300 each.

The promotion will be launched together with Wagners' announcement of a new "airport ambassador" on Monday.

Spokesman Joe Wagner was keeping his lips tight about the star ambassador's identity.

"Although her identity has been kept under wraps, what I can say is she is a high-profile Australian who we feel will well represent Wellcamp Airport on a local and national platform," he said.

"We are also excited for the community to meet the new face of Wellcamp Airport at our open day on Sunday, November 24."

The ambassador will be one of the special guests at the open day, along with country music singers Tania Kernaghan and Amber Lawrence.
