TOOWOOMBA band Project 62 contributed to a piece of history on Saturday night.
Not only were they the headline act of the Empire Strikes Back series, relaunching the theatre after coronavirus shutdown, but they also showcased their new single.
The release puts their touch on the story of the frontier wars of the area and the warrior Multuggerah.
"It is a huge privilege to be asked to be the first band back, " said Project 62 guitarist Mark Chalmers before the show.
"What we are really here tonight to do is try and spread the message, spread the story about Multuggerah."
