IT'S become part of Toowoomba culture - now the 2017 edition of the First Coat Festival has been launched with a new video.
The major tourist event, which brings talented street artists to the Garden City to paint on vacant walls, will run from May 19-21.
Now in its fourth year, curator Grace Dewar said another 30 artists from across Australia and the world would be coming create beautiful murals.
"Over the last three years, we've built an art trail of different mural sites that connect these urban spaces in our city, and that will be coming alive again for another three days this May," she said in the launch video by the Toowoomba Regional Council.
"I'm so excited to have 30 artists come together under a festival banner each year.
"We have talent flying in internationally, from all over Australia, and the local creatives that base themselves in Toowoomba get to paint alongside these international and national talents."
Some of the artists brought to Toowoomba in the past include Fintan Magee, Fuzillear, Ian McCallum and John Kaye.
