– The all-rounder had another tremendous season with the bat, finishing second in total runs scored. He was also used as one of Tracy’s strike bowlers – his grand final performance of 3/10 highlighting the clutch player he is.

2. JAKE GERRANS (Batter/Keeper – Tracy Village)

Stats: 7 matches, 390 total runs, 55.71 average, 1 100, 3 50s, 113 high score, 8 wicketkeeper catches, 2 stumpings, 1 run-out

– Topping the scoring charts and finishing second in the keeper’s rankings, Gerrans was a revelation for the premiership winning side. Gerrans’ ton in the grand final was the performance of the season, and earnt him the player of the final honours.

3. JACOB DICKMAN (Batter – Darwin)

Stats: 306 total runs, 51 average, 3 50s, 86 high score, 29 fours, 14 sixes, 4 catches

– The Eagles’ barnstorming opener who hits bombs was atop the leading run scorers once more. The captain terrorised opposing bowlers all season, hitting a whopping 43 boundaries (fours/sixes).

4. MITCH DOOLAN (Batting All-rounder – PINT)

Stats: 6 matches, 319 total runs, 63.8 average, 3 50s, 84 high score, 7 wickets, 2/47 best figures, 3 catches, 2 run-outs

– The batting all-rounder from Brisbane was invaluable in an otherwise struggling PINT outfit. Capable of batting up and down the order, Doolan finished the season with the highest average despite his side not winning a single match.

5. JORDAN ROADS (Batter – Nightcliff)

Stats: 5 matches, 283 total runs, 56.6 average, 1 100, 1 50, 168 high score, 2 catches

– Typically an opener, Roads is the most traditional batsman of the lot. A punisher of short and rank deliveries, who rarely even risks a six, he has the capability of batting long and counterpunching when necessary.

6. PRASANNA KETHEESHWARAN (Batter – Palmerston)

Stats: 6 matches, 264 total runs, 52.8 average, 98 high score, 3 50s, 4 wickets, 2/10 best figures, 1 catch and 3 run-outs

– A typical middle order that takes his time to get his eye in had a very solid season. His versatility is what stood out most, proving he’s more than capable of bowling half a dozen overs if needed and pinching a run-out in the field.

7. CONNOR POULTON (Batter – PINT)

Stats: 6 matches, 263 total runs, 52.6 average, 3 50s, 79 high score, 7 wicketkeeper catches, 2 stumpings, 1 run-out

– In what was his second DDCC campaign, but his first as captain, the keeper-batter was the glue in a poor PINT side. His consistency with the bat (one score under 21 runs) and his work with the gloves were nothing but class.

8. JAKE SMITH (Bowling All-rounder – Tracy Village)

Stats: 7 matches, 17 wickets, 15 average, 4/30 best figures, 104 total runs, 17.33 average, 78 high score, 1 50, 5 catches

– The Village’s ACT import was hands down the signing of the season. While he struggled for output with the bat – suffering two ducks, two 1s and a 3 – he was extremely damaging with the ball. His performance of the season was in the grand final where he took four consecutive wickets, to take his best figures of the season (4/30).

9. HAMISH MARTIN (Bowler, Captain – Palmerston)

Stats: 7 matches, 15 wickets, 12.8 average, 4/43 best figures, 2 catches

– The Tigers most prolific with the Kookaburra and boasting the best average in the competition, ended the season second on the total wickets tally. A classic number 11 with the bat, he stood up when needed, most notably his grand final performance in which he took a four’fa.
