Woman in hospital after ‘stabbing’ near Townsville court

A woman has been taken to hospital following reports of a stabbing outside the courthouse in Townsville.

Paramedics transported a woman to hospital after an incident outside the Townsville Magistrates Court on March 5.

A woman has been taken to hospital following reports of a stabbing outside the courthouse in Townsville.

Emergency services responded to reports a woman had been stabbed outside the Townsville Magistrates Court along Wills St, Townsville City around 9am on Tuesday.

Multiple police crews also responded and appeared to be searching the area around the courthouse for a person of interest.

Paramedics transported a woman with a wound to her right leg to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition.
