A woman has been rushed to hospital after sustaining a chest wound in the second alleged stabbing incident to hit Townsville within three days.
Police are investigating following a wounding incident in Aitkenvale on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to a carpark along Ross River Road just before 11pm to reports of a disturbance between two women, who are known to each other.
Upon arrival, a 26-year-old Garbutt woman was located with a chest wound.
Paramedics transported her to Townsville University Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact police.
The attack is the second alleged stabbing incident reported in Townsville within three days.
