Police are investigating a fire on Riverway Drive after a single-storey home was fully engulfed in flames.

Police are investigating a fire on Riverway Drive after a single-storey home was fully engulfed in flames.
Queensland Fire Department were called to the Kelso house, near the corner of Dunlop St, on Wednesday night about 9.15pm.
A QFD spokesman said the house was “fully evolved” when they arrived.
Four crews worked on the fire, with it under control by 10.15pm.
No occupants were in the house.
The QFD spokesman said fire fighters then handed the scene over to police and a crime scene was established.
A QFD fire investigator is expected to assist police in the investigation.
This was the second house fire in Townsville on Wednesday, with QFD also called to a home in Garbutt earlier that afternoon.
A single-storey home went up in flames, with Wulguru Station Officer Shane Miles saying the “building is totally destroyed”.
