Council crews have located two water breaks on the water main leading into Cungulla and have completed repairs on one, with work currently underway to fix the second pipe.
Residents are advised that water pressure issues may still occur whilst the repairs are ongoing, and are urged to restrict water use to indoor use only.
Council has said the repair works on the second pipe are expected to continue into tomorrow.

Those living in the Cungulla area have been asked to conserve water due to a possible broken water main Monday morning.
Townsville City Council stated it had crews investigating the problem with action immediately underway to minimize the disruption.
The council spokeswoman said Cungulla residents may experience water pressure loss or intermittent supply.
It’s been advised residents conserve water limiting to indoor use only and to restrict any outdoor water use until further notice.
