Townsville police investigate stolen horse from Hudson’s Circus on the weekend

Police are investigating reports of a stolen horse from a visiting circus in Townsville over the weekend. Full details.

Police have confirmed they are investigating an incident where it’s believed a horse was stolen from a visiting circus on the weekend.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said at 2:07am Sunday, the offender entered the gates in Garbutt and took the horse, which was found later in the day on Whitehouse Street.

A spokesman from Hudson’s Circus took to Facebook to share the CCTV images of the suspected thief and asked for anyone who may have information to contact police as investigations continue.

Hudson’s Circus kicked off it’s Townsville leg on May 9 and will continue until June 2.
