Townsville LEGO store crowned the best in Australia and New Zealand

The North Queensland toystore has celebrated topping other shops from across the country and New Zealand.

Taking out the title of Certified Store of the Year, the staff at Townsville Shopping Centre’s LEGO shop are celebrating their big win.

Named the best LEGO shop in Australia and New Zealand for 2024, the store first opened in 2021 and was the first store in regional Queensland.

Quickly becoming a favourite of both kids and adults alike, the store has LEGO of all shapes and sizes including ranges like Star Wars, Jurassic World, Harry Potter and more.

The shop was awarded six Store of the Month Awards in 2024, leading to them taking out the national title.

Store manager Leonie Cooper said she couldn’t be more thrilled for Townsville to take out the win.

“I’m just so very proud of the team for this amazing achievement and thankful and for our loyal customers and VIPS,” she said.

“We just love helping our customers build happiness, brick by brick, and recognised with this win is like the icing on the cake, or should I say like a piece of the build that clicks perfectly into place.”

LEGO Store Townsville is located at Townsville Shopping Centre in Aitkenvale.
