Where to mark Remembrance Day in Toowoomba

The community is invited to mark Remembrance Day with a service at the Mothers’ Memorial.

The community is invited to pay its respects to our defence force personnel at a Remembrance Day Service on Monday.

Toowoomba RSL Sub Branch members, veteran and community leaders will gather at the Mothers’ Memorial in Margaret Street with service to start at 10.15am.

Attendees are invite to lay a floral wreath at the memorial, or wear a poppy

The service will be followed by refreshments at the Kokoda Room, in the Soldiers Memorial Hall.

Remembrance Day is held on November 11, in all Commonwealth countries.

There will be a minute’s silence at 11am to recall the end of First World War hostilities.
