Weather watch: Toowoomba in for rainy, overcast few days
Toowoomba is in for a wet end to the week and start to the weekend, with forecasters predicting rain and double digit minimum temperatures.

The next three days will be rainy and overcast for Toowoomba, with up to 30mm predicted to fall between now and Saturday.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology there is a medium to high chance of rain falling across the Garden City today, tomorrow and Saturday.
Along with the good news of rain, due to the increased cloud cover minimum temperatures will also be slightly higher than we have been experiencing.
Today, 5mm is expected to fall in the afternoon and heading into the evening. Temperatures will range from 10 to 16 degrees.
Tomorrow 5 – 10mm of rain is forecast, with a chance of a thunderstorm in the evening and temperatures ranging from 13 to 16 degrees.
Saturday the rain will still be sticking around in the morning with up to 15mm predicted.
It will also be the coolest of the three days with a minimum of 11 degrees, and a maximum of only 13 degrees.
Sunday will be our first full day of sun and the clear skies will continue into the start of the working week.
The bout of wet weather is being caused by a trough and cold front which has moved eastwards over central Australia, affecting our region.
The system will move gradually eastwards before clearing the coast on Sunday.
