Ghost kitchens have grown in popularity in the past 18 months. While these virtual restaurants have no physical shop front, they still serve up some tasty food. Here are 5 in town you can order from.

You’d be hard pressed not to find a cuisine to satisfy your hunger in Toowoomba, with a huge variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs and take-outs.
Growing in popularity is the concept of operating a ghost kitchen or virtual restaurant which refers to a professional cooking facility set up for the preparation of delivery-only meals.
Ghost kitchens are only a new concept in Toowoomba, which have taken off with food delivery services such as Uber Eats, HappyToo and Menulog.
They often run out of an established restaurant’s kitchen, with no dining options but availability to order from an app and have it delivered to the customer’s home.
Here are five ghost kitchen’s you can order from in Toowoomba.
Supreme Leader
Supreme Leader was the first ghost kitchen to launch in Toowoomba, operating out of Pattysmith’s burger shop kitchen at Westridge.
The menu consists of a range of fried Korean chicken options with different dipping sauces and sides such as chips, rice or coleslaw.
Double Dragon Dumplings
Double Dragon Dumplings also operates out of Westridge with signature dumplings including chicken and ginger, pork and chive, prawn hagrow, premium vegetable, pork shu mai and chestnut prawn wontons.
It has also has ‘East Meets West’ fusion dumplings which include lamb souvlaki fried dumplings, classic cheeseburger fried dumplings, butter chicken bomb fried dumplings and Mexican taco fried dumplings
Oh Boy
Oh Boy offers food which is a mix of exotic street food, out-of-this-world comfort food and a hint of 90s nostalgia.
Menu items include Saucy Noodz – a noodle dish, Fishy My Bishy – fish tacos, pluto pups and loaded hot dogs.
Sir Benedict
Sir Benedict is a spin off from The Coffee Club and is designed as a brunch brand using eggs Benedict as the hero product.
Menu items including the standard eggs Benedict dishes as well as Eggs Bene with Chicken and Avocado, Eggs Bene with Pulled Beef, Eggs Bene with Haloumi.
Also, on the menu are Eggs Bene Pancakes, Eggs Bene Bacon on Hashbrowns and Eggs Bene on Fritters.
WingHAUS
WingHAÜS by Bavarian is a wing-packed spin-off of The Bavarian inspired by its popular buffalo wings.
The WingHAÜS menu is all about wings, burgers and snacks, including hot chips and gravy, buffalo ranch chips, Texas ranch chips, potato gems, and mash and gravy.
There are three types of wings, with a choice of eight hot sauces, as well as five dips.
There are also six burgers and a range of burger combo deals.
