Traffic collision: vehicles collide at Highfields service station

Two vehicles have collided on a busy Darling Downs highway resulting in patient transfers to Toowoomba hospital.

A collision involving two vehicles on a busy Darling Downs highway intersection near a 7-Eleven service station has resulted in two patients requiring transport to Toowoomba Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics assessed three patients following a two-vehicle crash on Cawdor Road and the New England Highway at 3.49pm on Sunday afternoon.

“Two patients were transported stable to Toowoomba Hospital,” she said.

“The third patient did not require transport.”
