Two family homes and a “commercial opportunity” are among the Toowoomba properties going under the hammer as part of a public trustee auction this week.
RealWay Property Partners already has significant interest in three listings in some of the Garden City’s best suburbs, including a CBD site and a South Toowoomba character home.
Agent Bria Hurst, who is handling the sales along with Elliot Scholefield, said the agency regularly organised the sales of properties and houses that fell into the hands of the Public Trustee of Queensland.
“We’ve got three options, they’re all under the public trustee and we thought if we had three we should auction them in the same session,” she said.
“We sent out a few pre-registrations, but I am anticipating a lot of people will register on the day.
“They are three completely different properties, so people are cross-referencing them.
“We’re the preferred agents for the Public Trustee in Toowoomba, and have been for a number of years now.”
The auction will be held at 295 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba City on February 13 from 5pm.

4 Thomas St, Toowoomba City
Described as a “renovator’s delight”, this worker’s cottage includes five bedrooms across two distinct dwellings and sits on more than 900sq m.
“Offering a unique blend of timeless elegance and modern potential, this property presents a rare opportunity to secure a piece of history while enjoying the convenience of a central location,” Ms Hurst said.
“Whether you’re a first-time buyer, investor, or someone seeking to restore a classic beauty to its former glory, this home is brimming with possibilities.
“The distinctive design features original architectural details that speak to its heritage, while the spacious interiors provide a comfortable, practical layout for everyday living.”
10 Market St, South Toowoomba
This “unpolished gem” on Market St sits within one of Toowoomba’s fastest-growing suburbs for median house prices and is close to the Bernoth Centre and St Saviour’s College.
Mr Scholefield said the 500sq m property included a two-bedroom home with one bathroom.
“Positioned close to excellent schools and the CBD, this property offers endless potential to complete the transformation and create your dream home,” he said.
“With its prime position and room for improvement, it’s a rare chance to secure a valuable asset in a prestigious area.”
12 Inter St, North Toowoomba
Easily the most unusual of the properties up for auction, the 800sq m parcel in the industrial parts of North Toowoomba includes a significant amount of unprofessional structures.
Ms Hurst said the site would be suited for a commercial opportunity, given the surrounding land uses.
“Perfectly situated within the North Toowoomba commercial precinct, this prime location offers the perfect canvas for your business dreams to flourish,” she said.
“Whether you’re looking to expand your current venture, launch something new, or invest in a future-proof asset, this property provides the ideal foundation.
“Don’t miss out on the opportunity to secure a foothold in one of the most sought-after locations in town – where your business can truly thrive.”
