Family fun days, workshops, creative exhibitions and First Nations arts and culture collective are set to fill up Toowoomba in the coming week as the city celebrates 2024 NAIDOC week between July 7 -14.

This year’s theme is ‘Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud’ with the fire representing the enduring strength of Indigenous culture passed on from generation to generation.

The second part: ‘Blak, loud and proud’ is an unapologetic celebration of Indigenous identity which empowers and asserts Indigenous heritage in the modern world.
