From ghosts to goblins, Toowoomba residents did their best to haunt and horrify this Halloween.
Families across town took to the streets dressed in their scariest costumes, collecting enough sweet treats to give their dentists nightmares for weeks.
Halloween enthusiast Kylie Rudolf open her haunted home to hundreds of screaming fans on Thursday as one of the most popular displays of the night.
“Last year I just had the display and people just came in and left really quickly so I wanted something a bit more interactive this year,” she said.
“It was insane, from 4 o’clock onwards it was lines two houses down and it was non-stop until about 8.20pm.
“I gave out over 800 treats, so with adults, I’d guess 1200 people came through.”
Ms Rudolf sent a message for the jack-o-loathers yet to get into the spooky spirit.
“It’s just fun,” she said.
“People went all out. There was one lady who dressed up her cat in a pram, there were really awesome well done costumes.
“It’s lots of laughs, a few screams, all the smiles – that is what makes me do it, and I have fun.”
Visit the Taylor St display in Wilsonton again this Saturday night from 5pm to 7pm.
