Toowoomba emergency wrap: Man taken to hospital after crash involving kangaroo in Glenvale

A man has been taken to hospital after crashing into a kangaroo in Toowoomba’s western suburbs on Monday night.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on Drayton Wellcamp Rd in Glenvale about 8pm.

The man in his 20s was treated for minor injuries and taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Fire starts at train museum

Emergency services were called to reports of a train fire in Toowoomba’s southern suburbs on Monday.

Paramedics and Queensland Fire Department crews responded to reports of the incident at DownsSteam Tourist Railway and Museum, on the corner of Brittle and Cambooya streets, about 6.30pm.

The fire was isolated to the undercarriage of one of the trains and was extinguished within 10 minutes.

Two-vehicle crash leads to hospitalisation

A man has been injured after a two-vehicle crash in Wellcamp in the early hours of Tuesday.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision on the intersection of Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Rd and Acton Vale Rd about 4.20am.

A man in his 40s was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
