A person has died in a serious truck and caravan crash on the Leichardt Highway.
The crash occurred on a bridge between Wandoan and Taroom, about 9.20am.
A man, aged in his late 30s, has sustained a leg injury and will be transported to hospital.
A second patient was trapped in their vehicle.
Sadly paramedics were unable to save them.
Police have closed the highway and are asking motorists find an alternative route.
