Hundreds of Darling Downs residents turned out in full support on Friday afternoon to relax among produce providers.
The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce hosted its Locals4Locals event on the lawns of the Empire Theatres, with almost 20 Darling Downs food and drink vendors on display.
“It really showcases local produce, local food and wine and showcases to everyone around and supports them, particularly during the current climate,” chamber CEO Todd Rohl said.
“(We had) everyone from our good friends at Pechey Distillery for locals to try some gin, right through to OMG Decadent Donuts.
“The weather (was) beautiful, and people could come and sit down, have a drink, relax and support locals.”
Mr Rohl said it was the perfect was to spend a Friday afternoon and relax after another week.
“It’s lovely to just wander through after work with friends,” he said.
Locals had a choice between sweets, meals, drinks and more.
