Two weeks after a Covid-19 outbreak scare in Goondiwindi, the Queensland border town is no longer a restricted area.
This means that there will no longer be caps on visitors at vulnerable facilities.
There will also be no restrictions for visits to vulnerable facilities elsewhere in Queensland for people who have been in Goondiwindi in the past 14 days.
It comes after a person tested positive to the virus earlier this month.
The case sparked a series of contact tracing alerts across the town, including Coles, Kmart and BP.
Those tracing alerts have since been removed.
Darling Downs Health is still urging residents in Goondiwindi to get tested for Covid-19, after traces of the virus were discovered in sewerage.
