Police investigating after thieves steal handbag, laptop, cash
Residents are urged to avoid leaving valuables in their vehicle overnight as they make for easy pickings for the city’s opportunistic thieves.

The number of Darling Heights properties targeted in Monday night’s crime spree has grown, with police adding a third location.
Thieves entered a vehicle parked at a Handley Street home on Monday night and stole a handbag, cash and a laptop.
It was earlier reported that thieves also broke into a home in Kratzmann Court and stole a collection of tablets and other personal electronic devices.
A home in Wuth Street was entered via an unlocked sliding door in the early hours of Monday morning where thieves made off with a laptop.
