Opening soon: Paint and sip studio coming to Toowoomba
The newest art studio to town is offering a cheeky twist for its adult classes as it caters to a growing trend. But you’ll need to get in quick.
Toowoomba
Don't miss out on the headlines from Toowoomba. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Toowoomba’s newest paint and sip studio is booked out for weeks despite not yet opening its doors.
Pinot and Picasso will join a growing community of art classes for adults and children in the region that already includes The Sip Studio and Tinker.
The idea is simple – guests arrive, they’re handed a canvas, paint brush and if you’re in the adults class, a drink.
Then the fun begins.
The studio will host several sessions during the week and will cater to hens parties, school holiday activities and birthday parties.
Participants can select the difficulty of their painting, ranging from “group friendly” to “detailed”.
According to the business’s website, the cost of private functions and Christmas parties will cost $59 a person, while “pop up events”, hens nights and bridal showers cost $65.
Kids parties cost $39 a person.
The private functions charge covers the choice of artwork, a canvas, acrylic paints, an easel and Pinot and Picasso apron.
Food and drinks can be purchased separately.
Those interested can sign up for sessions up until July 4.
Pinot and Picasso Toowoomba will be opening on May 14 at 185 Margaret Street.
