Residents enjoyed a day out in the warm weather yesterday, with some heading to Queens Park Botanic Garden for a Summer Tunes performance.
Stanthorpe duo Jennie Wardle and Emma Wardle, from band Nine Year Sister, entertained the audience with their setlist of pop and folk songs, with the event starting just after noon.
The pair said it was their first time performing at Summer Tunes and they had enjoyed the beautiful setting and the atmosphere at the botanical gardens.
Sitting in the audience were Yvonne Gillam and Beryl Johns, who had travelled in from Clifton to catch the show.
Ms Gillam and Ms Johns said they had always loved the event and hoped to see more bands back on the schedule next year.
This performance marked the end of the Toowoomba summer tunes schedule for this year.
