Lockyer Valley Regional Council issues flooding alert for Grantham

The Lockyer Valley Regional Council is advising residents get to high ground as soon as possible.

An Emergency Alert has been issued for Grantham from Lockyer Valley Regional Council.

The council advises flash flooding may occur in the Grantham area and water levels may rise quickly.

Residents are being asked to relocate to family or friends in a safe area until conditions settle and to warn others.

If it’s flooded, forget it. Stay up to date with the latest warnings from the Bureau of Meteorology.
