This weekend hundreds of families got a sneak peek into what it’s like at The Glennie School, through their annual Fair.
Parents and Friends Association president Kane Keefe has three daughters at The Glennie School and said the Fair is a great chance to show future students and families the school’s amazing facilities and welcoming culture.
With daughters in Prep, Year 2, and Year 4 at Glennie Mr Keefe said he loves being involved in their education.
“It is so rewarding to be able to participate and add value to the school,” he said.
“I don’t think one person’s actions make the difference, but it is great being able to see this volunteer group continue to grow.”
Mr Keefe said the event which caters to the “young and old” had market stalls, food vendors, and rides and saw an increase in participants from previous years.
“With the cost of living we thought we would see the Fair struggle this year but it was a very successful day,” he said.
The Glennie School is also hosting the All She Can Be Experience Day on Monday March 31, offering students an insight into the Year 5 and Year 7 experience at Glennie. This engaging event is open to current Year 3&4 students and current Year 5&6 students.
