Guzman y Gomez restaurants launch new feast for holiday period

A Toowoomba Mexican chain is selling its famous tacos as part of a new feast deal to mark the start of the holidays after 1.8 million were consumed nationwide in a matter of months.

Since Toowoomba residents, along with the rest of Australia, can’t get enough of Guzman Y Gomez tacos, the restaurant is now offering Taco Night bundles.

Since the launch of the $3 taco earlier this year, 1.8 million have been consumed across the country which equates to 350 an hour.

The new bundle is a way to celebrate the family favourite.

Guzman’s world famous tacos are made with Mama Flores’ beef mince, topped with lettuce, Jack cheese and packed into a chipotle-seasoned hard-shell corn tortilla.

CEO and founder Steven Marks said the tacos were a delicious family favourite.

“We wanted to offer a deal where GYG’s Taco Night Bundle made it easy for friends and family to take the night off cooking and knowing that everything is prepared fresh, just like home,” he said.

“Our new family fries are also exclusive to the bundle.

“Our menu is 100% clean with no added preservatives, no artificial flavours, no added colours and no unacceptable additives and we make our hardshell corn tortillas fresh in store every day so you can taste the difference just by the crunch of the taco.

“Our $3 Tacos have been the biggest hit on the menu yet, you genuinely feel great after eating GYG’s tacos. We think this bundle will be a big hit with our guests.”
