The graduating class of 2021 stepped out in style for their college ball at Rumours International on Saturday night.
Rodney Spain said the most rewarding part of the evening was seeing the young men and women step out and represent the school community in a positive way.
“They really set the standard for the rest of the year,” he said.
Mr Spain said the graduating class was a standout group for a number of reasons, but first and foremost for the way they carried out their daily tasks the “Joey’s way”.
“They've really taken on our way of thinking to heart and they’re living it out,” he said.
“Our Joey’s way is around aspiring for excellence, compassion and dignity and they’re really setting an example for the younger school and it’s something to be remembered by.”
After what was a fun night for staff and students, the kids will now turn their focus to more serious events during the school year.
“They’re switching to focus on their studies with the goals at the end of the year and doing their best to get the best ATAR they can,” Mr Spain said.
