Fire gutted Toowoomba region home overnight
The owner of a Drayton home returned to find it engulfed in flames with three QFES crews working to extinguish the blaze.

A Fire Investigation Unit officer will spend this morning combing through the ashes of a Drayton home, to determine the cause of a fire that gutted the property.
Three Queensland Fire and Rescue crews were called to the Ladner St home, about 7.30pm on Monday.
The arrived to find smoke and flames billowing from the rear of the property.
A QFES spokeswoman said the initial Triple-0 calls warned of occupants inside the burning building.
Several firefighting crews entered the structure to find the occupants, while others suppressed the fire from outside.
Meanwhile the owner-occupier arrived and confirmed that no-one was inside.
Fireys had the incident under control by about 8.10pm and were dampening hot spots and conducting atmospheric testing to determine if the area was safe.
They left about 9.30am.
It is understood the property and its contents sustained a significant amount of damage
The initial reports suggest it was not suspicious.
