Two patient taken to hospital after Toowoomba crash

A two-vehicle crash in Toowoomba’s southern suburbs has left two people in hospital.

The incident was reported on the intersection of Ruthven and Stenner Streets in Kearneys Spring at 7.30am.

Paramedics assessed two people and took them to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Man hospitalised after 8m fall from tree

A man has been injured after he reportedly fell 8m from a ladder while trimming branches from a tree on a private property on Saturday.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident in Warwick about 1.30pm.

It is understood the man in his 60s was trimming branches when one of the felled limbs knocked the ladder he was standing on, causing the fall.

Paramedics treated him for spinal precautions and he was taken to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.

Teen rushed to hospital with head laceration

A girl in her late teens has been taken to hospital after a motorbike crash on the Darling Downs on Saturday left her with facial injuries.

The incident on Kildonan Road at Goondiwindi was reported to authorities about 3pm.

Paramedics assessed the teen for a laceration to her forehead and she was taken to Goondiwindi Hospital in a stable condition.

Toowoomba senior hospitalised after city crash

An older man has been taken to Toowoomba Hospital after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash in the city’s southeast on Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred on the corner of Ramsay and Asher Streets in Centenary Heights shortly before 4pm.

The man in his 70s was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital.

Two other people were assessed but did not require an ambulance ride.

Elderly woman flown to hospital after quad bike crash

A woman in her 80s is in hospital in Toowoomba with significant injuries after a quad bike she was riding crashed on a private property in the Western Downs on Friday.

Paramedics and The RACQ LifeFlight rescue chopper were called just before 1pm to the property near Green and White’s Road at Moonie, about 80 minutes southwest of Dalby.

The woman was treated for back, face and head injuries and flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Man escapes with minor injuries after Darling Downs rollover

The sole occupant of a car that rolled over near Tara in the Western Downs has been lucky to walk away with minor injuries.

The incident on Western Road at The Gums, west of Tara, was reported to authorities just after 5pm on Friday.

The man in his 50s suffered only an arm injury and was taken to Tara Hospital in a stable condition.

Man killed in single-vehicle crash near Lockyer Valley

A man has been killed after his car was involved in a horror crash on the edge of the Lockyer Valley on Friday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash after 4pm along Old Grandchester Road at Grandchester, not far from Laidley in the Lockyer Valley.
