A man has died at the scene of a horror crash after his car left an unformed road on the edge of the Lockyer Valley region.

A man has been killed after his car was involved in a horror crash on the edge of the Lockyer Valley on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash after 4pm along Old Grandchester Road at Grandchester, not far from Laidley in the Lockyer Valley.
Online mapping suggests the road is unformed.
Police investigations indicate the vehicle was driving south along the road when it came off and travelled down an embankment.
The 30-year-old Ipswich man died at the scene.
