Friends and relatives of a Kingsthorpe family who lost their home in a fire have put a call out for donations.
The family of five children needs everything replaced, from clothes, to furniture to white goods after a fire ripped through their Gulligal St home, about 4pm on Monday.
Family member Shanesse Bradford launched a GoFundMe campaign to solicit cash donations.
“I know it’s a tough time as Christmas has just gone, but any donations would help even if you don’t have the money.,” she said.
“Clothing, kitchen appliances, linen, furniture, toiletries, pretty much anything to help a family start again.
“Everything will be dearly appreciated and would go a long way.”

The fire started while the family were away on holiday.
QFES Acting Station Officer Tomas Neville said when firefighters arrived at the scene, the rear of the house was engulfed in flames and had partially collapsed.
“When we got there, the back half of the structure was fairly well involved in fire,” he said.
“We had crews who did make an entry to the structure to conduct a primary search.
“They also conducted fire suspension and have contained that fire to the rear end of that structure.
