The first Body and Soul Expo will be held in Toowoomba this weekend which will bring together local healers and alternative vendors.
Kelly Prentice who operates the Makers Market decided to host the Body and Soul Expo because she felt it was something different she could offer the region.
There will 40 vendors in attendance with tarot readers, healers, palm readers, herbalists as well as vendors selling everything from crystals to essential oils.
There will also be food and coffee vans.
Ms Prentice said these vendors weren’t often seen at other local markets.
“I felt there was a gap for people to be able to experience what these vendor can offer,” she said.
“I am a spiritual person to a degree. I am a Reiki healer, an aromatherapist and love my crystals.”
The idea is to host the expo twice a year.
Already more than 130 people have said they are attending with another 600 interested in the event on Facebook.
The Body and Soul Expo will be held at the Mills Precinct on Sunday from 9am to 2pm with free entry.
