Firefighters have freed a primary school-aged child from a barbed wire fence after a nasty accident in Greenmount.

A child has been taken to Toowoomba hospital by paramedics after an unfortunate incident involving a bike and a fence.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Hirst and Warkon Streets in Greenmount around 3.18pm after an incident involving a primary school-aged boy, his bicycle, and a barbed wire fence.
Firefighters were called to free the boy from the fence, which they did shortly after 3.40pm.
The boy was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
