In the past 12 months there have been a number of new businesses pop up in Toowoomba which centre around creating amazing homemade sweet treats.

These businesses, along with some cafes around town, are pulling out all the stops to create some incredible Valentine’s Day packages for you to give to your loved ones.

1. Lettie Lou Cookies

Lettie Lou Cookies launched last year and specialises in all things cookies.

It is offering large and small Valentine’s Day cookie boxes as well as a cookies cake and cookie wreath.

The cookie boxes include an assortment of heart shaped cookies with royal icing or fondant. It also comes with the customer’s choice of a large heart, plaque name cookie or Baby Yoda.

The two layered cookie cake is filled with vanilla and lemon buttercream, topped with macarons, meringue, chocolate hearts, fondant sweet hearts and raspberry jubes.

The cookie wreath is similar to the cookie cake, except with a hollow centre.

2. Pizza and Pie Co

Each year Pizza and Pie Co sells amazing doughnut bouquets and this year is no different.

The doughnut bouquets include seven iced doughnuts, one cinnamon doughnut, one cronut and special Valentine’s mini chocolates.

Pizza and Pie Co is only accepting pre-orders and they can be collected on Sunday from 9am to 10am.

3. Cookie D’licious

Cookie D’licious has and incredible range of Valentine’s Day cookies, with a number of themed sets available.

Sets include Mando, I’m Nuts About You, PS I Love You and I Wuff You. Each of these come with handcrafted artistic cookies.

4. Hoffcake Co

Hoffcake Co is offering customers a four-pack of cupcakes and a bag of meringues in its Valentine’s Day pack.

The pack consists of a 25g pack of mini meringues and a larger heart meringue as well as two chocolate and two vanilla cupcakes with hazelnut and caramel buttercream.

Each cupcake is topped with love themed fondant designs such as hearts, kisses and roses.
