After a missed 2021, the popular Volkswagen showcases was back in the Darling Downs, with more than 150 iconic cars on display.
Klub VW Darling Downs president Neil Batterham said the Dubs On The Hill event on Sunday morning was a great success.
“We really didn’t know how many cars to expect, but we had 160 cars take part, which is up there with our record numbers,” he said.
“Because we missed last year, this was really a chance to reconnect, to socialise and to come together again.
“People have come out in droves, and we were absolutely chookas full. The car parks were overflowing, and it’s been a huge injection into the local economy.
“We’re really pleased.”
