As the business world moves into another calendar year, these are the establishments that want to transition to new ownership.

Crackerjack Chicken – $175,000 + SAV

Iconic franchise Crackerjack Chicken has hit the market after more than two decades in business.

First established 23 years ago, the well-known fast food franchise has three stores across Toowoomba and Highfields.

The current owner has operated the business for nine years, and the store managers have been there for 9-11 years.

Urban Grounds – $350,000 + SAV

This licensed cafe situated in a classic property on Herries Street is a “rare opportunity to secure an incredible business”.

The popular venue can accommodate up to 260 people for cocktail functions and approximately 200 for seated functions.

It is open seven days a week, and has established management in place.

Chipmunks Toowoomba – $99,000

This well-known children’s adventure playground and cafe is still on the market.

According to the business listing, the facility is a “profitable business model” with “excellent training and dedicated support”.

Located in the Bernoth Centre, Chipmunks is a popular spot for young families and often hosts children’s parties.

There are more than 60 Chipmunks locations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

X-Golf – Price on Application

A cutting-edge golf simulator which opened in the Garden City just a few years ago, is looking for a new owner.

The venue, which is located on Keefe Street in the CBD, is a place for golfers to take a swing indoors on state-of-the-art virtual reality machines.

Also at the location is a fully-operation kitchen and bar.

Banter – $149,000

One of Toowoomba’s most popular coffee shops also needs a new owner.

According to the business listing, Banter has been a beloved fixture in Toowoomba since 2019, when the current owner opened at the site of the former Bunker Records and the connected Bunker Espresso.

The cafe, which is open seven days a week, is also a place where people can “connect with each other and the local art scene”.

The price includes all equipment and stock, point of sales software, website, social media assets and lease assignment.

This cafe, which has frequently been rated one of Toowoomba’s best, is on the market.

According to the listing, this “well-established” cafe has high visibility and a solid customer base.

Known for its delicious specials, Burrow is operating six days a week until 2pm.

Making Rainbows Toowoomba – $110,000

Pet Cafe – $135,000 + SAV

You could be the new owner of this popular pet store situated in the Garden City.

According to the sale listing, this established store is a “community of passionate pet lovers”.

The store is situated on Herries Street.
