EXPRESSIONS of interest for construction of the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing close at noon today.
The Queensland and federal governments invited the private sector in early June to partner with them to deliver a world-class public-private partnership asset.
More than 60 consortia and companies participated in the registrations of interest stage earlier this year.
Proponents short-listed at the end of the expressions of interest period will be invited to submit a detailed proposal during the Request for Proposals phase.
An industry briefing was held in Toowoomba on June 12.
The Toowoomba Second Range Crossing is expected to cost about $1.6 billion to build.
