A TIME-LAPSE clip shared by Nexus shows just how much work goes into building the mammoth Toowoomba Second Range Crossing.
The one-minute video shows work being completed at the Rocky Gatton Creek bridge.
Cranes and cars are seen moving in and out of frame as workers build the bridge.
The clip has had more than 3300 views and Nexus let residents know that they would be sharing more time-lapse footage of the project under construction.
Nexus advised more changes and progress was coming and it would continue to keep people up-to-date.
"Throughout this month and into 2018 we'll be sharing information about the project's design, key interchanges and how this alternative crossing of the Toowoomba Range will improve national freight efficiency and driver safety."
The company also asked parents to make sure their children were aware of the dangers of construction sites.
"School has finished for another year and kids are out and about. While we take every precaution to control unauthorised access to work zones, please help keep your family safe this summer break and make sure your children are aware of the dangers of unauthorised access to construction sites."
