Touch of Toowoomba brings you a scene from the lives of four Toowoomba people each week.
Who are they? and what do they love about our great city?
Bonnie Ritchie
I WAS born and raised in Goondiwindi. I left there before I turned 18, lived here for a year and then left and went down to Lennox Head and then I came back to Toowoomba.
When I came back I got a job in Priceline and I've been here seven years.
Why the back and forth? I studied here for a year when I left high school, so I have a Certificate in massage therapy, and then I left and did a coastal gap year.
I've worked in Priceline ever since. I love working here. The girls are fantastic, I love our regular customers that come in, and meeting new people that travel through.
You meet a lot of people and you're constantly learning.
What do I like about Toowoomba? It's growing. It's becoming bigger and we're getting new things into town all the time.

I'M 19 years old and I'm only in my second year out of school, so I'm only just figuring out what I want to do in life and saving up for some overseas trips and things like that.
I'd love to go to Greece and do the whole of Europe and the USA, everywhere really.
I've only been here (in Toowoomba) for four years actually.
I was born in New South Wales in Gunnedah and I moved up to the Cairns region, a place called Mareeba when I was 11.
Then in 2014 I moved here and I've been here ever since.
(My family) bought a motel in Mareeba. They just wanted to try something new and that fell through, so we just landed here.
What do I like about Toowoomba? I like that it's not a large city but it's not a small town. It's a perfect size with everything that you need. And I love going to the different parks around Toowoomba.

I'M FROM a family of six and I'm the second youngest.
I think I've been in Toowoomba for seven years now.
I did live here previously, before we moved out to Charleville for dad to do his teaching.
Charleville was very different. It's good living in a small community - you know everyone - but it's definitely very different from Toowoomba.
We moved there in 2006 and then we moved back at the end of 2009. So we were there for four years - most of my primary schooling was there.
I am 18 and just finished school - I'm going to be studying nursing next year.
Why nursing? Probably just to help people. A lot of people have said "I reckon you'd be a great nurse you're so good at caring for people". I'm not looking forward to the messy jobs but that's part of it.
What do I like about Toowomba? I like that it's a city but it still has a country town feel. I like that we've got all the parks and national parks surrounding us and there's a variety of things to do.

I'M A beauty advisor at Priceline, and I'm a full-time here.
I've been in Toowoomba all my life. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do with my life at the moment, so I'm just working, and enjoying what comes.
I'd like to be an international flight attendant, but I don't think Toowoomba has that just yet, but the Wellcamp Airport is getting bigger and better.
What I like about Toowoomba is that it's a homely town and it's not too big and busy like Brisbane. But there's great cafes and what-not.
