A TEENAGER has suffered serious injuries after a car crashed and burst into flames in the Lockyer Valley overnight.
The single-vehicle crash happened just after 10pm on Old Laidley Forest Hill Rd at Laidley.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said crews were called after a four-wheel drive crashed into a power pole.
He said when firefighters arrived on scene the vehicle was on fire and the two occupants of the car were not trapped inside.
The fire was brought under control by 10.25pm.
The 16-year-old boy was airlifted from the scene to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A 25-year-old female was also transported in a stable condition, via road, to Ipswich Hospital.
Fire crews were on scene until 2am and the Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
