Teen arrested, suspect on the run after machete attack on northern suburbs man
A man has been left with serious injuries after being chased down and attacked by a 17-year-old wielding a machete in Enfield.

Wielding a machete, a 17-year-old has been arrested for assaulting a man in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
The teenager was captured running with the blade in hand at about 2.45pm on Tuesday in Enfield.
He was behind two other men, the victim, and another suspect, who is still on the run.
With significant injuries to his right hand, the victim, a 19-year-old Enfield man, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The 17-year-old Seaton teenager was arrested and charged with aggravated assault causing serious harm, carrying an offensive weapon, and theft of the victim’s phone.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Youth Court on Wednesday.
The victim’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, and police said his stolen phone was returned.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and locate the second suspect who remains on the run.
