Pedestrian rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by car in Adelaide’s northern suburbs

A serious crash in Adelaide’s north has left a pedestrian hospitalised with serious injuries.

A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after they were struck by a car in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Friday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of both Gosford and Ryde Street, Gawler West, just after 3:50pm, after a pedestrian was struck by a car.

The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.

Traffic restrictions are in place at the scene, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
