A man has been arrested after another man was attacked with an axe in Adelaide’s northwestern suburbs.
Emergency crews rushed to a Torrens Road, St Clair address on Thursday afternoon to find a 51-year-old man saying he had been struck on the arm with an axe.
He was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 49-year-old man also from the address, was arrested without incident and charged with committing an assault that causes harm.
Detectives have spent several hours coming and going from the home, emerging at one stage this afternoon with two samurai swords.
The alleged victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A woman at the scene is assisting detectives with their ongoing investigation.
