A 51-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after a 54-year-old Seaton man died at the scene of an alleged assault at Seaton.

A 51-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter after a 54-year-old Seaton man died at the scene of an alleged assault at Seaton.

It is believed that at around 4.14pm on Thursday, police and emergency services were called to a house in Minns St East, Seaton after reports of a fight between two men known to each other.

One of the men suffered serious injuries and was being treated by paramedics, but died at the scene.

A 51-year-old Seaton man was arrested and has been charged with manslaughter.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday, March 7.

Robert Hann Sto Domingo, who has lived in the street for the past eight years, said it was normally a quiet area.

He was “shocked” when he returned home today to see police blocking the street off.

The street was blocked off overnight while forensic investigators examined the scene.
